by. Meenyoung

Jay of ENHYPEN participated in a project to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the debut of the famous Japanese rock band GLAY.

On the 24th, GLAY announced the release of the 30th anniversary single "Whodunit-GLAY × JAY (ENHYPEN)-/Share" on its official SNS.

GLAY will release a new song on May 29. Jay participated in featuring "Whodunit-GLAY x JAY," one of the title songs of its new single. Jay was also named as a lyricist.

Through this collaborative song, Jay will try writing lyrics for the first time in Japanese. He participated in writing the lyrics of "Sweet Venom," the title track of his fifth mini album "Orange Blood" last year.

"On the 30th anniversary of our debut, we wanted to produce a song for the opening of GLAY's new career," GLAY's leader Takuro said. "We found Jay while looking for an artist who would give the band a big impetus."

"I learned Jay's passion for vocals and rock," he said. "We pushed for this collaboration because we thought we could have an great chemistry with each other."

"It's an honor to be part of GLAY's important album," Jay said. "Not only the lyrics but also the recording became a special memory with GLAY members. I tried my best to convey the message. Please listen to it a lot."

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN is on its world tour "FATE PLUS." The tour will be held in five U.S. cities until next month. The tour will continue in five Japanese cities from June to September.
