Actor Kim Seon-ho donated on his birthday. He contributed 100 million won for the youth. 

"Kim Seon-ho has donated 100 million won for young people this year, following last year," the Korean Red Cross said on Tuesday. The day marks Kim Seon-ho's birthday and World Red Cross Day.

The donation is from the proceeds from Kim Seon-ho's "2023 Asian Tour Fan Meeting." Prior to his donation, he received votes from his fans to decide where to donate. As a result, he decided to support young people preparing to become self-reliant. 

Kim also sent 100 million won last year. As a result, 146 young Koreans received sponsorship. They include daily necessities, study equipment and exam fees, medical expenses, residential environment improvement expenses, and psychological stabilization programs.

The Korean Red Cross said, "This year's donations will also be used in areas that need support, such as finance, emotion, and health," adding, "We will provide practical help to the young."

"Thanks to 'Seonho-hada' (fandom), we were able to make the donation this time. We sincerely thank our fans for joining us with a good heart," Kim Seon-ho said.

He added, "I support young people who are ahead of a new start to take the first step in society with expectations rather than worries," and added, "I hope it will be of practical help."

Meanwhile, Kim Seon-ho also provided medical expenses for children with leukemia in 2021.
