"SF9" Dawon will join the army. He will return after fulfilling his military duty for a year and a half. 

FNC Entertainment said on the 21st, "Dawon will join the military on July 1st," adding, "To minimize congestion on the site on the day of enlistment, no separate official event will be held." 

Fans are not allowed to visit the site. The agency said, "Many military personnel are present here. Please take into consideration that this is a private site."

Lastly, the agency said, "We always thank you for your love toward Dawon," adding, "I ask for your fans' support until the day Dawon return healthy after his service."

After joining the military, Dawon will engage in basic military training for five weeks. He plans to start serving in the military after being deployed to the military. The discharge date is expected to be Dec. 31, 2025.

Meanwhile, Dawon held a solo fan meeting at the 100th Anniversary Hall of Yonsei University's Sinchon Campus from April 27 to 28. He greeted his fans for the last time before joining the military.
