RM of BTS is going solo for the second time.
RM will release his 2nd solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' on various music platforms at 1PM (Korean time) on the 24th.
It's been about 1 year and 5 months since he released a solo album. RM released his first solo album 'Indigo' in December 2022.
The new album deals with universal emotions. It delivers a message of empathy to those struggling to find answers at moments when they feel like strangers.
It consists of a total of 11 tracks. In addition to the title song 'LOST!', the album includes songs of the same name as 'Nuts', 'Out of Love', and 'Heaven'.
Each song was organically connected. RM expressed his concerns about the new album's main theme, 'Right and Wrong', through the pre-released song 'Come back to me'.
He looked into the contradictory feelings of wanting a challenge but wanting to be complacent with reality. ‘LOST!’ sheds light on people who have lost their way because of this contradiction.
He also speaks of hope. Through the title song, RM comforts people by saying, 'Even though I'm lost, it's okay as long as I have friends by my side.'
This album was filled with RM’s unique colors. He participated in writing lyrics for all songs. It's not just the music. Even the staff was carefully selected by RM himself for effective visuals.
Talented musicians also contributed. He collaborated with Kim Han-joo of 'Silica Gel', Oh Hyuk of 'Hyukoh', America's 'Domi & JD Beck', and Taiwan's Kuo of 'Sunset Roller Coaster'.
Meanwhile, RM plans to sequentially release the music video and live video of the included song starting on the 28th.
