'Pachinko' Returns With Season 2

Apple TV+'Pachinko' will returns with a new season. Season 2 will be released on August 23rd.

'Pachinko' is a story that begins with forbidden love. Traveling between Korea, Japan, and the United States, it depicts a chronicle of war and peace, love and separation, victory and judgment.

Season 1 depicted the epic narrative of a Korean immigrant family who left their hometown during an era of oppression in the early 1900s. It deals with hopes and dreams across four generations.

Season 1 received rave reviews from foreign media immediately after its release. The script, acting, and directing were all well received. It has proven its artistic value by winning leading awards ceremonies.

It won the Best Foreign Language Series award at the ‘Critics’ Choice Awards’. It even won the 'Gotham Awards Breakthrough Series - Best Feature Film of 40+ Minutes' category.

The main characters of Season 1, including Yoon Yeo-jeong, Lee Min-ho, and Kim Min-ha, will work together once again. Kim Sung-gyu joins as a new face, raising expectations.

This is not all. Characters who gave captivating performances in Season 1 also appear. This includes Jin Ha, Jung Eun-chae, Anna Sawai, Han Jun-woo, Arai Soji, etc.

Meanwhile, 'Pachinko' Season 2 consists of a total of 8 episodes. Episode 1 will be released on August 23rd. Starting with this, one episode will be released every week.
