EXO's Suho returns with an expanded music spectrum and deepened emotions.

On the 31st, at 6 p.m., Suho released his mini 3rd album '1 to 3' on various music streaming sites. The album includes a double title track, '1 to 3' and 'Cheese,' totaling 7 tracks.

Suho expressed, "I've been preparing for this for a year and six months. I'm glad to present a more refined album with continuous improvement in music and concept."

He introduced '1 to 3' explaining, it metaphorically represents a space explorer who got lost in space, reflecting on his life philosophy in the unknown territory through music signals."

He added, "If you listen to the tracks from 1 to 7 in order, you can better understand the songs and enjoy listening to them."

This album is filled with rock music throughout. Suho said, "I studied rock music during my military service. I wanted to express 'Suho is sincere about rock' through this album."

The title track '1 to 3' is a British rock genre song. Reflecting his own footsteps gathering and showing a different appearance from others, Suho's message is conveyed.

He shared, "The theme is profound, but unlike previous title tracks, there are many exciting and addictive music sources. I think it would be even more enjoyable to sing along at festivals."

He revealed his future plans. "I hope many people recognize 'Suho is sincere about rock,' and it would be perfect if they think 'Suho's music is Suho-like.'"

He expressed his affection for fans. "We love EXO-Ls so much. We'll go anywhere with EXO-Ls around the world, starting with the Korean concert, so please wait a little longer."

Meanwhile, '1 to 3' will also be available as a physical album on June 3rd. Reservations can currently be made at online and offline record stores.

Q. What are your thoughts on making a comeback with your third mini-album '1 to 3' after a long time?

- I've been preparing for this album for a year and six months. Due to various schedules like drama filming, it's now time to show it. I think I was able to present a more complete album because I could continuously refine and improve the music and concept.

Q. Can you tell us about the title track '1 to 3' and its key points?

- It's a British rock genre song with funky guitar and bass riffs. It reflects on the exploration of oneself beyond the 1st and 2nd dimensions to the 3rd dimension, meaning that I reflect on my life in my 30s and convey it to the listeners through music signals. The theme is profound, but unlike previous title tracks, there are many exciting and addictive music sources, so I think it would be even more enjoyable to sing along at festivals.

Since this album contains a storyline metaphorically likening a space explorer who has become a space lost and is reflecting on his life philosophy in the unknown area through music signals, if you listen to the tracks from the 1st to the 7th in order, you can better understand the songs and enjoy listening to them.

Q. You released the double title track 'Cheese' in addition to '1 to3.' Is there a reason for the pre-release? How was it to work with Red Velvet's Wendy?

- First of all, I really liked the song 'Cheese,' so I wanted to enjoy it together with fans at solo concerts. Also, as I transformed quite a bit for this album and thought I should approach fans more enjoyably and comfortably, I thought I should pre-release the light and bouncy 'Cheese.'

Wendy is one of my cherished junior artists, and I thought she would suit this song very well while working on it. I was worried that Wendy might not be able to participate due to other schedules or projects, but she graciously accepted the featuring request within 10 minutes of asking, so I was grateful.

Q. You shot two music videos for the double title tracks. Can you tell us about any memorable episodes during the shoot?

- For the 'Cheese' music video, Wendy's facial expressions were so entertaining, like an American sitcom, that I laughed a lot during the shoot. There's a scene at the end of the music video where we freeze and then nod at each other, pretending to be frozen, but it's actually an NG scene. Still, it was included in the music video, making it look even more amusing.

And for '1 to 3,' our Suho band friends wore alien masks and performed, and I was amazed by their perfect performance even though they couldn't see the front well.

Q. This album is filled with rock music. Did you learn to play the guitar for this album, and what was the part you paid the most attention to in preparation?

- I studied rock music during my military service. As a frontman of the band, I wanted to express 'Suho is sincere about rock.'
