Singer G-Dragon will stand on the podium as a special professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).

G-Dragon will attend the 'Innovate Korea 2024' talk show held at the KAIST headquarters in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon on the 5th. He is scheduled to receive a letter of appointment as a visiting professor at the event.

KAIST invited G-Dragon as a special professor with the goal of incorporating the latest science and technology into K-content.

G-Dragon will take the podium to deliver a special leadership lecture for undergraduate and graduate students. He will share his experiences as an artist.

The appointment period is two years, until June 2026. He was also appointed as a KAIST Global Ambassador. He will take the lead in promoting KAIST overseas.

Joint research is also promoted. KAIST and its agency 'Galaxy Corporation' jointly established the 'Entertech Research Center' within the Department of Mechanical Engineering and will conduct convergence research on digital twin, artificial intelligence, and metaverse.

G-Dragon said, "It is an honor to become a visiting professor at KAIST, a university that produces scientific geniuses. I look forward to a great synergy, a 'big bang', by meeting the best science and technology experts and my entertainment field."

He continued, “The number of people working with artificial intelligence in the music field is also increasing. Cutting-edge technology enables more diverse forms of creative work,” and added, “I want to communicate more closely with fans around the world through artificial intelligence avatars.”

G-Dragon is expected to have a busy year with his music activities. He is preparing a new album with the goal of a comeback in the second half of this year.
