According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, Seventeen received a gold disc 'double platinum' certification for their best album '17 Is Right Here'.

As of May, '17 Is Right Here' has sold over 500,000 copies. Seventeen has once again proven its unrivaled popularity in Japan.

The Japan Record Association grants certification based on cumulative shipment volume. Gold (more than 100,000 copies), Platinum (more than 250,000 copies), and Double Platinum (more than 500,000 copies) are classified.

This is the 20th time that Seventeen has received a gold disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Among these, 11 are certified as ‘Double Platinum’ or higher.

The best album also swept the recently announced Billboard Japan's ‘First Half of 2024 Chart’. It took second place in both the ‘Hot Album’ and ‘Top Album Sales’ categories. This is the highest ranking for a K-pop album.
