On the morning of the 11th, RENJUN expressed his feelings through the fan communication platform Bubble by leaving a long message that began with, "I have a lot of things I want to say, but I can only do it here. Please understand that I am so frustrated."
Last April, RENJUN visited the hospital due to poor physical condition and symptoms of anxiety, and was diagnosed as needing stability and rest, so he halted his activities. Accordingly, they are unable to participate in NCT Dream's solo concert '2024 NCT DREAM WORLD TOUR -THE DREAM SHOW 3: DREAM()SCAPE', which opened in May.
He said, "I was really having a hard time with panic disorder and depression, and I didn't want to hurt my kids, so I held it in and my body reacted and I collapsed. I thought it would be too dangerous, so I decided to take a break from activities. I want to be active more than anyone else, but my mind and even my body reacted. After directly announcing the reason for the hiatus, he expressed his apologies to his fans, saying, "I need to be healthier."
He said, "I was having a hard time mentally, so while I was taking a break, I went to an amusement park to recover quickly. I tried all the things I couldn't do before, and as I healed, I was gradually getting better. I saw a post that said, 'You're in that much pain, but you can go out and have fun?' I was so shocked to see these words. “It was pathetic. So, does a sick person have to be depressed and take medicine every day and be locked in a hospital room and cry every day?” he said. “My goal is to do my best to get better quickly and to be active with Dream. “Because that’s the only way to get treatment,” he said, expressing his frustration.
Even as people are going through a difficult time with panic disorder and depression, damage to their ‘private life’ continues. RENJUN said, "A sasaeng on my personal schedule? I have a scary stalker, that kind of person following me around. Taking pictures of me while I was sleeping in the seat next to me on the plane is such a burden to me. How on earth did they find out about my airline ticket, and even though they scared me and got in the seat right next to me? And they proudly said, ‘No? You didn’t follow me, did you?’ and I was really, really stressed. “There are many ways to love and like, but there’s no need to take such an extreme method, right?” He said.
In addition, he said, "I received several calls today and again, and when I answered them thinking it was the delivery man, they said, 'Are you by any chance my friend OOO?', but the profile said he was a member of ours. Is this really a coincidence?" He revealed that he also received a call from Sasaeng through his personal contact number. “So, regardless of whether they are young or rich, I will not stand by anyone who touches my private life. I will go all the way to the end, including reporting through a lawyer and filing a lawsuit, so I hope you will come to your senses now and use your time and passion for the right things,” he added.
Lastly, RENJUN said, "I won't stay quiet if you touch my private life other than that of a celebrity. Even if I lose money, I will bite, tear, fight, and make sure you are punished. Our company has also prepared all measures regarding this, so we have a good relationship and good memories as Dream and Czennie." “Let’s leave this behind,” he said, adding, “The things I said above are absolutely not what I said to Czennie (the fandom). It’s a warning to those who are harming our dream illegally. I want Czennie to love me and be happy enough to give me my all.” It even comforted my heart and made me feel sad.
Meanwhile, NCT Dream, of which RENJUN is a member, is continuing a world tour around the world, including North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, an encore concert will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul from November 28 to December 1.
