‘BTS’ Jungkook boasted of his global influence. The fan song successfully entered the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart.
On the 18th, Billboard posted an article about Jungkook's charts on their official SNS and announced, "Jungkook's 'Never Let Go' will debut at No. 97 on this week's 'Hot 100'."
This is Jungkook's 7th solo song to debut on the 'Hot 100' chart. It is also the largest number for Korean solo singers. This is the first time since ‘Standing Next to You’ in November last year.
Jungkook previously entered the chart with 'Stay Alive', 'Left and Right', 'Seven', '3D', and 'Standing Next You'. This time too, it really captured the listeners’ attention.
‘Never Let Go’ is a fan song written and composed by Jungkook. It is an English song based on house rhythm. It features a minimalist synthesizer and refreshing sound.
It was announced as part of a festival commemorating BTS's debut date (June 13th). This song contains Jungkook's message to ARMY: 'Let's never let go of each other's hands.'
Meanwhile, 'Never Let Go' was listed not only on Billboard's 'Hot 100' but also on the UK Official Chart. It ranked 60th on the single chart on the 15th.
