RENJUN releases public number...SM "Apologises for misunderstanding with illegitimate fans"

NCT DREAM's RENJUN misunderstood a call from a bastard fan as stalking. The group posted the number on a fan communication platform, causing damage to the public.

On the 21st, SM Entertainment released a statement saying, "We sincerely apologise to those who were affected by the disclosure of our contact information on an open platform."

The victim visited a local police station following the outpouring of criticism. SM was contacted and apologised for the harm caused. They also took down the post.

"We will do our best to prevent any further harm," SM said, "and we ask the victim to please refrain from contacting us."

RENJUN is also currently reflecting. "RENJUN deeply regrets its irresponsible behaviour. We also sincerely apologise for our poor management of our artists," the company added.

Meanwhile, RENJUN took a hiatus last month due to symptoms of panic disorder and depression. He recently complained on a fan communication platform that he was under extreme stress due to his illegitimate fans.

He said, "Sasaeng follows my personal schedule. They sit next to me on the plane," he said, adding, "They take pictures while I sleep. I don't know how they got my ticket. It's scary. It's so stressful."

At the time, one of the bachelors texted her at 5am, despite Renjun's warnings. RENJUN posted a text capture and wrote, "I warned you, but there are still people like this. I can't sleep. I'm not going to stop," he wrote angrily.
