According to the latest Japanese Oricon statistics (as of the 22nd), NewJeans ranked first in the 'Daily Single Ranking' with their Japanese debut single 'Supernatural'.
It maintained the top ranking for two consecutive days. 'Supernatural' went straight to number one on the chart on the 21st, the day of its release. It achieved exceptional results for a debut work.
The music sector is also showing strong performance. The title song of the same name ranked first on the Line Music real-time chart. It also maintained the top spot on the daily charts.
‘Supernatural’ also ranked 3rd in Oricon’s ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’. It rose two notches compared to the previous day (22nd), raising expectations for a long run.
Music videos are also consistently popular. The music video for 'Supernatural' and the song 'Right Now' swept the first and second places on the Line Music Daily.
