SEVENTEEN will attend the UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassador appointment ceremony held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France at 5:30 pm on the 26th.

Members receive a letter of appointment after a brief meeting with UNESCO Headquarters Director-General Audrey Azoulay. There will also be a 10-minute acceptance speech.

UNESCO appoints world-renowned figures from all walks of life as goodwill ambassadors. This is to increase interest and participation from people around the world.

SEVENTEEN becomes the first K-pop artist to become an official UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. This is the first time that UNESCO appoints a goodwill ambassador for youth, a priority group.
