Tours (TWS) has proven its meteoric growth.
TWS broke its own debut record with its second mini album, SUMMER BEAT! The album sold 513,892 copies in the first week after its release, according to Hantar Chart.
This is about double the sales of their previous album. Their mini album 1 totalled 260,881 copies sold. It was a remarkable growth in about six months after their debut.
The series has also been well received in Japan. "Summer Beat!" debuted at No. 1 on Oricon's Daily Album Rankings on the 24th of last month. It remains at the top of the latest chart at No. 2.
The agency said, "We believe that the debut title track 'Plot twist' has had a significant impact due to its long-lasting topicality," and analysed that the group's overall fan base has increased.
In fact, the song became a phenomenon in the first half of this year. When it was released, it was number one on Bucks, Apple Music, and more. It has remained on the top of major music charts for more than five months.
The second mini album is also slowly gaining popularity. The title track "If I'm S Can You Be My N" first entered the Melon Top 100 at No. 94. It has since climbed to No. 55.
Meanwhile, TOURS will continue to be active with their new album.
