Tomorrow X Together swept the major Japanese Oricon charts.
According to Oricon's latest statistics (as of the 15th), Tomorrow X Together ranked first in the 'Weekly Single Ranking' with their new Japanese single 'CHIKAI'.
A total of 350,000 copies were sold during the counting period (1 to 7 days). Considering that 'Chikai' was released on the 3rd, it was ranked at the top for 5 days.
It is also the highest weekly sales volume this year among foreign artist singles in Japan. On the first day of the album release alone, 300,982 copies (Oricon tally) were sold.
This proved the power of their local albums. Following the previous work 'GOOD BOY GONE BAD', the first two works exceeded 300,000 copies in a row.
'Chikai' ranked first not only on the weekly chart but also on the 'Daily Single Ranking' (as of the 7th). It came down to second place, but regained the top spot in two days.
This single contains a total of 3 songs, including 2 new songs and the Japanese version of 'Déjà Vu'. The title song is ‘We’ll Never Change’.
It became a hot topic even before its official release. ‘We Will Never Change’ was selected as the theme song for NTV’s ‘DayDay.’ We met with viewers throughout July.
Tomorrow X Together is concentrating on activities in Japan after releasing their new album. Appeared on Fuji TV's '2024 FNS Song Festival Summer' and NTV's 'The Music Day'.
