PLAVE has gained momentum to enter Japan. It will be supported by Hybe Japan.
VLAST announced the news of the collaboration with Hybe Japan on the 9th. "Through the signing of a bilateral agreement, Flave's entry into Japan will be in full swing," the company said.
Hive Japan's local know-how will be leveraged. "It is expected that PLAVE will be able to carry out its activities in Japan with a high degree of perfection."
With this collaboration, Hybe Japan will be responsible for all of PLAVE's activities in Japan. It will not only help with the debut, but will also help with activities in Japan.
"It's the biggest deal for an artist outside of Hive Labels," said a representative, "and we saw a lot of potential in Flavor."
"We will continue to actively promote PLAVE's Japanese activities through active collaboration and communication with Hive Japan," VLAST said.
PLAVE is a virtual boy group consisting of five members. They debuted in March last year. Their popularity has been growing rapidly in Korea and Asia.
They are especially popular in Japan. Their mini second album "ASTERUM134-1" was ranked No. 1 in K-pop sales in the first half of 2024 at a major Japanese music store.
Meanwhile, PLAVE has not yet revealed a timeline for their Japanese expansion.
