RIIZE tops Oricon-Billboard Japan weekly chart

Boy group RIIZE's first mini-album is a hit in Japan.

RIIZE's first mini album "RIIZING", released on 17 June, topped Japan's Oricon Album Daily Chart (5-7 July) for three consecutive days, and also topped the Oricon Album and Billboard Japan Top Album Sales Weekly Chart (1-7 July).

On the morning of the 9th, Oricon announced the news via their official website with the headline, "Rising, their first weekly album number one in three weeks since the release of their first mini album 'Rising'.

At the same time, the title track "Boom Boom Bass" has surpassed 10 million cumulative streams in three weeks, according to Spotify's latest data as of the 9th, making it the fastest-growing song in Rise's history.

"Boom Boom Bass" has been a hit with fans, peaking at No. 21 on the Mellon Weekly Chart (1-7 July), which was released on the 8th, and has risen every week since its release, climbing to No. 34 in week one and No. 23 in week two.

Meanwhile, Rise will be meeting with fans at a live event, "RADAR Radio Live feat. RIIZE," at Musinsa Garage on the 10th at 7pm, and will be appearing on music entertainment ENA's "K-Pop Up Chart Show" on the 12th at 6:30pm.
