Aespa proves its global music power.
Aespa released their first full-length album 'Armageddon' in May. It featured the double title track "Supernova" and a new song of the same name.
It became a hit at home and abroad. According to Spotify, the world's largest music platform, "Supernova" has over 100 million cumulative plays as of 10 days.
It is the 10th 100 million-streamed song of all time. "Black Mamba," "Next Level," "Savage," "Girls," "Goblin Fire," "Spicy," and "Drama" have been played more than 100 million times.
They have also attracted attention from overseas media. Their Japanese debut single "Hot Mess" was selected as one of the "Best New Songs of the Week" by U.S. magazine Uproxx.
UPROX featured ESPAR's Japanese debut heavily. "The K-pop supernovas have launched another activity with 'Hot Mess' following their first full-length album," the magazine said.
Beyond Korea, the group is continuing its '17-day tour' in global markets. "ESPAR fans will never have to worry about running out of content," the outlet added.
Meanwhile, Aespa will be holding its arena tour "Sync: Parallel Lines - In Japan" in Nagoya on the 11th and Saitama on the 14th and 15th.
