New Jeans 'Supernatural' hits the million-seller mark

New Jeans is back with a bang. It has become a million seller for the fifth consecutive time.

New Jeans released their Japanese debut single "Supernatural" last month. According to Circle Chart's June tally, the album sold 1,027,300 copies.

New Jeans has now sold a million copies of all five of their albums since their debut. Their debut album, "New Jeans," and single "OMG" have sold 1.6 million and 1.66 million copies, respectively.

That's not all. Their sophomore EP, Get Up, has sold over 2.14 million copies to date. It's the first double-million seller for New Jeans.

The double single "How Sweet," released in May, has also sold over 1.12 million copies. This brings the cumulative sales of New Jeans' five albums to around 7.55 million.

Not only albums, but also music videos. "Supernatural" has been on top of the daily chart of Bucks, a major Korean music site, for nine days. On Melon's Top 100, it has climbed as high as No. 5.

Global charts are also performing strongly. "Supernatural" charted for the second consecutive week at No. 22 on the latest U.S. Billboard Hot 100 (13 July) and No. 34 on the Global 200 (excluding the U.S.).

The song "Night Now" peaked at No. 120 on the Global (excluding US) chart. Both songs are also popular on major Japanese music charts such as Spotify Japan and Apple Music Japan.

Meanwhile, New Jeans will be performing "Supernatural" on domestic music broadcasts, starting with KBS-2TV's "Music Bank" on the 12th.
