“Today is the happiest day of my life.” (from Le Monde interview)
Jin of BTS appeared in front of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France on the 15th (Korean time). He will be a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

On this day, Jin visited the torch relay center within the Louvre Museum. He moved down Rue Rivoli under police escort and carried a torch all the way to Piazza Carrousel.
ARMY (fandom name) had been waiting near the Louvre Museum for about 12 hours. Afterwards, when Jin appeared, the ARMYs were enthusiastic and shouted loudly.
He participated in the 10-minute torch relay. He smiled at the fans who waited for him. He later passed the torch to the former French national freestyle skiing representative.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) also paid attention to Jin's torch relay. The scene was uploaded to official SNS. “There are 11 days left,” he said, urging more interest.
Jin said, “It is an honor to be able to participate in such a meaningful moment,” and added, “I was able to fulfill the role of torch bearer because of ARMY.”

He added, "I was so nervous that I didn't know how time passed, but thanks to the support of many people, I was able to finish as best as I could."
He hoped that the South Korean national team would do well. He applauded, saying, "I hope you achieve good results as much as you put in your efforts. I will also support you with all my heart."
Jin also added, “I hope there will be a lot of interest in the 17th Paris Paralympic Games,” adding, “I will work harder and show a good performance.”
Meanwhile, the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics torch relay began in Olympia, Greece, in April. It will tour 64 regions until the 26th.
