"BLACKPINK to return next year...world tour" YG confirms

Executive producer Yang Hyun-seok has confirmed that BLACKPINK will be making a comeback next year and going on a world tour.

YG Entertainment posted '2025 YG PLAN' on its official blog on the 22nd. On this day, CEO Yang Hyun-seok introduced 2NE1's 15th anniversary activities and also mentioned BLACKPINK's activities for next year. BLACKPINK's Jennie , Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa will continue to work with their respective agencies for individual activities, but will remain with YG for all group activities.

"2025 will be a year where many artists will be active at the same time," Yang said, adding that it will be the year of BLACKPINK's comeback and the start of their world tour.

In addition to BLACKPINK's activities, he also announced that AKMU, who are working on a new album, and Song Minho and Kang Seungyoon are set to be discharged from the army at the end of December, so a full WINNER activity is not far away.

"We have a tentative title 'NEXT MONSTER' in the pipeline," said Yang Hyun Suk, adding, "We will definitely introduce a new group to our fans next year."
