aespa's 'Supernova' was crowned the best song of the first half of the year.
British music magazine 'Dock' recently selected 'BEST SONGS OF 2024 SO FAR'. aespa's 'Supernova' was named.
The song was introduced. "'Supernova' is a cosmic work where electro-pop and hip-hop collide," he said, adding, "The moment you listen to the song, it takes you to another world."
He continued, "It's a black hole-like beat that gets you sucked into the song and then spits it out into another dimension. It's not just K-pop, it's a space journey that overwhelms the speakers."
American Forbes reported the news that AESPA's first album 'Armageddon' entered the Billboard 200 chart. “It is one of the highest selling volumes in the United States,” they pointed out.
Forbes went on to explain, "Armageddon is on the list of best-selling albums in the United States for the first time due to a huge increase in sales. It is a significant increase compared to its predecessor."
There is no rival even in Korea. 'Supernova' ranked first on Melon and Genie's weekly charts (July 15-21) for 9 consecutive weeks. This is the longest record at number one among songs released this year.
Meanwhile, aespa will continue the '2024 Aespa Live Tour - Sync: Parallel Line -' tour in Osaka, Japan on the 27th and 28th and in Fukuoka on the 30th and 31st.
