(G)I-DLE officially apologized for their controversial stage costumes.
Cube Entertainment announced to 'Dispatch' on the 22nd, "We were aware that there was a problem with the stage costume. We contacted the Korean Red Cross and apologized."
Follow-up measures were also taken. The agency announced, “We are actively discussing ways to prevent recurrence (violation of use of the Red Cross emblem) and follow-up measures.”
The agency again apologized to the Korean Red Cross. He bowed his head and said, “I would like to apologize once again to everyone involved for the inconvenience.”
(G)I-DLE performed the title song 'Klaxon' from their 7th mini album 'I SWAY' on KBS-2TV's 'Music Bank' on the 19th.
The concept of the day was lifeguard. They wore costumes with the Red Cross emblem on them. Some questioned whether this was a violation of current law.
Of course, unauthorized use of this logo is prohibited. In accordance with Article 25 of the Korean Red Cross Organizational Act, the emblem must not be used without the approval of the Red Cross.
