(G)I-dle Donates 50 Million Won to the Red Cross for Flood Recovery Support

(G)I-dle practiced warm sharing to support flood recovery.

On the 29th, the Korean Red Cross announced, "(G)I-dle members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua donated 10 million won each, for a total of 50 million won, for flood recovery support."

They continued, "This donation was made after (G)I-dle became aware of the Red Cross emblem and humanitarian activities and decided to participate in flood support and recovery due to the record-breaking heavy rain in 200 years."

The members said, "We hope that the flood victims who are in despair will be comforted and return to their daily lives as soon as possible through the Red Cross's life-saving humanitarian activities."

Kim Chul-soo, Chairman of the Korean Red Cross, said, "We believe that (G)I-dle's support will be a warm comfort and great strength to the flood victims."

He then promised, "As a legal disaster management agency and relief support agency, the Korean Red Cross will do its best in flood recovery activities."

Meanwhile, the Korean Red Cross has been continuing flood emergency relief and recovery activities in various regions across the country that suffered major damage from heavy rain since the 8th. More than 2,600 employees and volunteers participated.
