Singer and actress Cha Eun-woo will be the first pitcher.

The Seoul LG Twins are hosting the '2024 Summer Holic' event at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on 9 September, with a three-game weekend series against the NC Dinos.

Cha Eun-woo will take the mound on the 11th, the final day of the event.

"This will be my third time throwing out the ceremonial first pitch for the LG Twins after 2017 and 21, and I'm very happy and honoured to do it again," Cha said. "The LG Twins won the league title last year for the first time in 29 years, and I will always support them to continue their winning spirit."

Cha Eun-woo has been active in acting, appearing in MBC's "A Good Day to Be a Dog" and "Wonderful World" in the first half of this year. He is currently considering "The Wonder Fools" as his next project.

The drama, which tells the story of a group of "flawed superpower" who develop psychic powers against their will, is being directed by Yoo In-sung, who directed the "Dr. Romantic" series and "Extraordinary Attorney Woo".

He will also appear in tvN's new drama "Living in Finland," which will air in the second half of the year, alongside actors Lee Jae-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, and Kwak Dong-yeon. The show follows the cast as they go about their daily lives in a rural Finnish village.
