The members of BLACKPINK celebrated their 8th anniversary. Amidst this, Jisoo expressed her gratitude towards BLINK (BLACKPINK fan club).

On the 9th, Jisoo posted a post saying, "It's a day when I feel grateful and happy that I was able to spend eight years of my life with BLINK.

She said that as they have grown together, they have become a strong relationship that they can lean on in times of difficulty, "Just as Blink met BLACKPINK today and received strength and comfort from them in times of difficulty, they told us to lean on us so that we can be strong as well. Just by saying that, I felt like I could overcome all the hard things in the future." She expressed her gratitude.

She added, "Let's continue to be there for each other. Thank you and I love you," she said, adding, "We are always grateful and love you too. Happy 8th anniversary and keep up the good work."

Lisa wrote, "It was so nice and happy to be with Blink for her 8th birthday on 8 August," while Rosé also celebrated BLACKPINK's 8th anniversary, writing, "We are 8 years old now."

Jenny also shared a photo of the entire BLACKPINK group with the caption, "8th August 8th anniversary," showing her love for the members.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK debuted on 8 August 2016. After signing a new contract with YG Entertainment last year, the members established their own labels, with Rose moving to producer Teddy's company The Black Label.

BLACKPINK will meet fans at a pink carpet event to celebrate the release of the film "BLACKPINK World Tour [Born Pink] in Cinemas" on the same day. The event is attracting more attention as it is said to be the first time BLACKPINK has gathered together in 11 months.
