Choi Jung-hoon of the band Jannabi has shared his first thoughts after publicly acknowledging his relationship with actress Han Ji-min.
Choi recently posted a lengthy message on his fan café, titled "A Letter Written and Deleted Over Hours, Hoping My Sincerity Reaches You." He expressed his true feelings to his fans.
He began by saying, "First of all, yes, that's how it is. It seems like everyone is ready to tease me. I know very well how you all might feel, and I am so grateful and thankful for that too."
Choi continued, "I've always answered questions about dating with 'I'll take care of it, don't worry.' But now that it's out in the open, I couldn't avoid writing this letter."
He added, "You all must have been surprised this morning, so take a sip of a calming drink. I did the same. My heart was racing this morning, so I took a sip."
His deep affection for his fans was evident as he wrote, "I'll take the energy we've created together here and use it to make better music, healthy and loving music as a gift."
He also promised, "I'll cherish the love we share, the love surrounding us, and when the time is right, I'll show it to the fullest."
He ended the letter by expressing his sincere gratitude once more: "I've made a lot of good music. I'll work hard so I can share it with you soon. Thank you so much for always supporting me with the same heart and giving me strength."
Earlier, Choi Jung-hoon confirmed his relationship with Han Ji-min. The two are a couple with a 10-year age difference, having recently transitioned from colleagues to lovers.
The couple first met in August of last year on KBS-2TV's "The Seasons - Choi Jung-hoon's Night Park." They bonded over their shared love of music, which blossomed into romance.
Their dates mainly took place near Choi's studio, as he is known to spend most of his time on music. The couple was often seen near the studio.
A reader provided "Dispatch" with photos of their date. The two were spotted enjoying tea at a café in Seorae Village, easily recognizable even from afar due to their similar appearances.
