BLACKPINK Lisa shared her thoughts on her first acting challenge.

On the 12th (local time), Elle released Lisa's pictorial and interview. Among them, Lisa shared her thoughts on her first acting challenge through the HBO original series 'The White Lotus' Season 3.

The 'White Lotus' series is a drama that depicts stories that take place in a hotel, and Season 3 was filmed mainly in Phuket, Koh Samui, and Bangkok, Thailand. Lisa said, "Because I filmed in my hometown, I was able to eat Thai food every day and have a precious opportunity to be close to my mom while filming."

Lisa continued, "I didn't even tell my mom or friends that I auditioned. I think I cried when I heard that I was cast for the role. It was my first acting project, so I was excited and nervous," and added, "I was happy for a moment (when I heard the news of my casting), but then I thought, 'How am I going to convey this?'"

Lisa did not mention the specific role she took in Season 3 of 'White Lotus', but she said proudly, "I took acting lessons, but at first I doubted my acting. It's quite new to me, but I think it's similar to filming a music video. I hope the fans will enjoy it," and "I think people will fall in love with Thailand even more when they watch this series."

Meanwhile, Blackpink renewed their contract with YG Entertainment in December of last year, but decided not to sign additional contracts for individual activities. Accordingly, the members are expected to continue their activities in a 'separate but together' manner. Lisa recently established a new agency, 'LLOUD', and released her first solo album in June, making her full-fledged solo debut.
