Stray Kids has been officially certified gold for ‘Thunderous,’ the title track of their second full-length album ‘No Easy,’ which was released in August 2021. It has sold over 500,000 copies in the US alone.
The RIAA awards certifications based on the sales of singles and albums in the US. There are four certifications: Gold (500,000+), Platinum (1 million+), Multi-Platinum (2 million+), and Diamond (10 million+).
Stray Kids now has six RIAA Gold-certified albums. Previously certified for ‘New Menu’ (single), ‘Five Star’ (album), ‘Rockstar’ (album), ‘Maniac’ (single), and ‘Backdoor’ (single).
‘Thunderous‘ is the Stray Kids’ signature song. The magnificent sound and confident lyrics create a synergy. The song made a strong impression on fans at home and abroad.
The music video also attracted attention. It captures the beauty of traditional colours such as court music, traditional festivals, and Bukcheong Sajatal. The members' personalities and energetic performances were also well received.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is embarking on their new world tour ‘dominATE’. It will kick off on the 24th at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
