The boy group Golden Child will be restructured as a 7-member team.

Woollim Entertainment announced on the 27th, "We recently renewed contracts with five of our artists: Lee Jang-jun, Bae Seung-min, Bong Jae-hyun, Kim Dong-hyun, and Hong Joo-chan."

However, contract renewals with Tag, Kim Ji-beom, and Choi Bo-min did not materialize. The agency stated, "After in-depth discussions with the three members, we regretfully decided to conclude our management contracts with them as of today."

Moving forward, Golden Child will continue their activities as a 7-member group, including Lee Dae-yeol and Y. The agency added, "We ask for your unwavering support and encouragement for the 7 members of Golden Child."

Golden Child debuted as a 10-member group on August 28, 2017. Recently, Hong Joo-chan and Lee Dae-yeol have taken on roles in musicals, and Bong Jae-hyun appeared in the drama "Jopokgo."
