Enhypen has been doing well in Japan with their music. They received their first gold medal in the streaming category.
On the 29th, the Recording Industry Association of Japan granted certification every month based on the cumulative number of plays (streaming category). Enhypen received gold certification for their second mini album 'Border: Carnival' title song 'Drunk-Dazed'.
As of last month, 'Drunk-Dazed' has surpassed 50 million cumulative plays. Depending on the number of plays, they are awarded gold (over 50 million plays), platinum (over 100 million plays), and diamond (over 500 million plays).
'Drunk-Dazed' is a pop rock genre song. The rocking feel of the 808 bass is attractive. It expressed Enhypen's dark side.
The second mini album 'Border: Carnival' has been consistently popular. When it was released in May 2021, it entered the Billboard 200, Billboard's main album chart, at 18th place. The music video also achieved its first 100 million views.
ENHYPEN has received gold disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for a total of 12 albums so far. Their third Japanese single 'Yu' and second single 'Dimension: Senkou' are double platinum.
Their second full-length album 'Romance: Untold', their first full-length Japanese album 'Sadame', and their debut single 'Border: Hakkanai' are platinum, and their fifth mini-album 'Orange Blood', fourth mini-album 'Dark Blood', and seven other albums are gold.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will hold their world tour 'FATE PLUS' in Miyagi, Japan on the 31st and 1st of next month, concluding their approximately 7-month world tour.
