DAY6 has set a career high on domestic music charts ahead of their comeback.
DAY6 will release their 9th mini album 'Band Aid' and the title song 'Melting' on the 2nd of next month.
Ahead of their comeback, they set their own highest record on the music charts. The title song 'Welcome to the Show' from their previous album 'Fourever' released in March has reversed the charts.
As of 10 PM on the 18th, 5 months after its release, the song ranked 10th on the Melon Top 100 chart. As of 10 AM on the 26th, it had risen to 9th place.
'One Page' also broke its own record. 'One Page~' settled in 6th place on Melon as of 9 AM on the 28th. It has hit its highest ranking in 5 years since its release.
'Pretty' is also maintaining the top 10 based on the same criteria. 'Happy' from the 'Forever' album is also rising.
'Happy' reappeared on the charts on the 22nd, 5 months after its release. As of 9 am on the 28th, it jumped to 28th place, heralding the birth of another reverse-run song.
Day6 is celebrating its 10th debut anniversary this year. They revealed, "With the belief that good music will connect someday, we talked with the members about making 'music that doesn't age.'"
The new album 'Band Aid' was completed by adding 'band', meaning rock group, and 'Aid', meaning help. The members wrote and composed a total of 8 tracks.
The title song 'Melting', 'Monster', 'She Laughed', 'Mang Game', 'Help Rock and Roll', 'Counter', 'I'm Fine', and 'Still Living There'.
