ITZY member Lia has shared her latest news after six months of hiatus.

Lia posted a series of photos on her account on the 29th with the caption, “I'll share my daily routine on my Instagram.”

In one of the photos, Lia is sporting a short haircut. Looking like Matilda from the movie Léon, Lia smiled broadly with a healthier-looking face.

This is Lia's first post in about six months, since February 11, and it signaled her return to active activity. ITZY member Chaeryeong welcomed her back with a comment that read, “She's a doll.”

Netizens responded to Lia's post with comments such as, “It's so good to be back,” “She's cute,” “I missed her,” and “She's a short-haired legend, she's the best ever.”

Lia previously announced her hiatus in September last year. Her agency, JYP Entertainment, said, “Lia has been experiencing extreme tension and anxiety about the progress of her schedule and has undergone counseling and medical checkups. She received a medical opinion that she needs stabilization and treatment,” the agency said.

“Considering the artist's health as our top priority, after careful discussions with the members, we have decided that RIA will not be participating in any scheduled events after today and will rest and focus on her treatment for the time being,” the agency continued.

Lia was the first to announce her return to her fans on March 8, during a live broadcast for the fifth anniversary of “MIDZY” (her fandom name).

Lia revealed that she will be working on her new album, which is scheduled to be released in the second half of the year, as well as full-fledged team activities. It will be interesting to see how energetic ITZY will be with Lia's return.
