Actors Im Si-wan and Park Gyu-young will meet in an action film. They have been cast in 'Samagwi'.

On the 2nd, Netflix revealed the production news of 'Samagwi' along with the main casting lineup. "Im Si-wan, Park Gyu-young, and Jo Woo-jin have confirmed their appearances."

'Samagwi' is a spin-off of 'Gil Bok-soon'. It is set in the world of contract killing. It is a story about a top-class killer, his rival, and a retired killer.

Im Si-wan will play the role of Samagwi, a top-class killer belonging to MK Entertainment, a contract killing company. He is the character that Cha Min-gyu (played by Seol Kyung-gu) of 'Gil Bok-soon' mentioned as "going on vacation."

He seeks new opportunities with his colleagues. After returning from vacation, he decides to leave MK Entertainment, which lost its CEO. He is expected to show off his captivating acting.

Park Gyu-young will play the role of Samagwi's long-time friend and rival Jae-yi. He had outstanding skills but fell out of favor with his superiors. He was eventually kicked out of MK Entertainment.

Jo Woo-jin plays the role of legendary killer Dokgo. He is the founding father of MK Entertainment and the teacher of Samagwi. After Cha Min-gyu's death, he pushes for the CEO position and Samagwi's re-recruitment.

This is director Lee Tae-seong's first directing work. The director has experience as an assistant director in 'Gil Bok-soon' and 'The King'. Director Byun Sung-hyun, who created 'Gil Bok-soon', also participated in the script.
