JYP Entertainment warns against impersonation texts.

On September 10, JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP) released an official statement saying, “Recently, false recruitment texts impersonating our company have been circulating continuously, and we have released a notice on our website calling for attention to this.”

In the notice, JYP said, “The texts are pretending to be from JYP or a domestic or international recruitment agency and promising high profits for tasks such as ranking music albums, writing reviews, and clicking likes. All of these claims are false, and if you receive such texts, please do not respond or contact us and delete them immediately.”

“JYP Entertainment does not provide job-related information via text or email, and all official job postings are only announced through JYP's official website and recruitment platforms. We will take all possible legal action against those who send these fraudulent texts.”

“If you have received such a text, please report it to the nearest police station or cyber investigation unit. JYP Entertainment is continuously strengthening its monitoring to prevent such impersonation and is doing its utmost to prevent any harm.”
