Aespa will follow up the long-running popularity of “Supernova".
SM Entertainment announced on October 23, “Aespa is making a comeback in the second half of this year.They will release their fifth mini album 'Whiplash' on October 21,”
Aespa's comeback will be their first in about five months. They released their first full-length album “Armageddon” in May. It became popular with its double title track.
In particular, “Supernova” set a new record on Melon, Korea's largest music site. It was on top for the longest period of time (15 weeks) since the service started in November 2004.
The new album includes a total of six tracks. It includes the title track of the same name and various genres. Aespa's unique music will be heard.
Meanwhile, Aespa will start pre-selling 'Whiplash' at various online and offline music stores from today.
