Soccer star Son Heung-min revealed his love for soccer in a magazine interview.

In the October issue of Elle magazine, Son Heung-min was photographed and interviewed in a specially designed book-in-book, ELLE MAN.

Son Heung-min, who met in London for the photo shoot, said, “Now, when I come to London after being away for a long time, I feel familiar with the place to the point where I think, 'I'm home. At the same time, I always try to remember why I came here and remain vigilant.” He shared his thoughts on the shoot.

Speaking about his experience visiting Korea with his teammates for a Tottenham Hotspur match in July, he said, “I was so happy every day that I didn't want to waste time. Not all players get the chance to bring their teammates to their homeland, but I was lucky enough to do it twice. Especially since we had more time than two years ago, we ate a lot of delicious food.” He smiled.

“I still watch every K League game, even the highlights,” he said about the recent rise in popularity of the sport. I hope the players don't take the love they receive now for granted. If they approach every game and training with that mindset, they will receive even more love in the future,” he said, showing a sense of responsibility.

When asked about what 'next game' means to him as the captain of Tottenham and the Korean national team, he said, “It means that I have another chance to play my best game. Of course, there are things to learn from the games where I didn't play my best. However, when I approach a new game, I always sincerely believe that this can be my best game,” he said, adding that he was determined. “I'm so grateful and happy that I don't think the word 'grateful' covers how I feel. To be able to play in the Premier League for 10 years and be loved, I think that's a huge happiness,” he said, still showing his deep affection and love for the game.
