Actors Im Soo hyang, EXO's Suho, and Chae Jong Hyeop will be traveling to Antarctica with food entrepreneur Baek Jong Won.

MBC confirmed the lineup of “Chef in Antarctica” on the 26th.

'Chef of Antarctica' is a program that follows the process of preparing a warm meal for the members of the winter team who live in isolation in the harsh Antarctic environment with a sense of mission. Baek Jong Won, Im Soo hyang, EXO's Suho, and Chae Jong Hyeop will be on the front lines of climate crisis research in Antarctica as members of the winterization team.

It is expected that MBC will return to Antarctica 13 years after the series “Tears of Antarctica” to deliver the message of climate change and the Antarctic ecosystem.

The production team said, “The project was born out of Chef Baek Jong-won's sincere desire to cook meaningful dishes in Antarctica. Im Soo hyang, Suho, and Chae Jong Hyeop are also preparing to fulfill their roles as one of the crew members in Antarctica, so please look forward to it.”

'Chef in Antarctica' is scheduled to air in the first half of 2025.
