Jung Haein on the end of Love Next Door

Actor Jung Haein shared his thoughts on the end of tvN's “Love Next Door” (written by Shin Ha Eun, directed by Yoo Je Won).

“Love Next Doors” aired its final episode on the 6th. On that day, the ratings averaged 8.5% nationwide (according to Nielsen Korea). It was a record high for Yoo Jong-mi.

He said, “I think I laughed more than ever before. It was my first time as a loco, but I was able to finish it well thanks to the staff and fellow actors who always cared about me.”

As for Choi Seung-hyo's character, he said, “He was a lot like me. I sympathized with him a lot,” he said, adding, ”That's why I sincerely wanted him to be happy.”

He continued, “I learned a lot while playing Seung-hyo, and it was a happy time for me to grow with him. I'm also grateful to the viewers for their affectionate gaze,” he added.

Jung Haein tackled his first romantic comedy after his debut. He played Choi Seung-hyo, a successful architect. He shared a bittersweet acting chemistry with Jung Somin as Bae Seok Ryoo.

His delicate emotional expressions added to the immersion of the drama. Jung Haein conveyed the love he felt for his old childhood friend through his facial expressions, tone of voice, and gestures.

The agency commented, “Jung Haein has been delivering delicious performances, transforming into different characters in every movie. Please look forward to seeing what she will do next.”

Meanwhile, “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” will follow up “Love Next Door. It is scheduled to premiere on the 12th.
