'T-ara' member Jiyeon met with her Chinese fans, marking her first official schedule following the announcement of her divorce from 'KT Wiz' player Hwang Jae-gyun.

On October 7th (KST), Jiyeon participated in T-ara's 15th anniversary fan meeting held at Broadway in Macau, sharing the stage with fellow members Eunjung, Qri, and Hyomin.

Jiyeon’s professionalism stood out during the event. She, along with the other members, performed T-ara’s hit songs, including "Sexy Love" and "Roly-Poly."

She actively engaged with fans as well. A video, seemingly taken during the event, was uploaded on Weibo, capturing Jiyeon answering fan questions in Chinese.

One fan expressed, "Congratulations on T-ara's 15th anniversary. Our youth will never end." Another fan shared, "T-ara is my whole youth," showing deep affection for the group.

On October 5th, Jiyeon’s side announced that she is in divorce mediation with Hwang Jae-gyun. Her legal representative, lawyer Choi Yoon-ah, stated, "We have submitted a divorce mediation application to the Seoul Family Court."

Hwang Jae-gyun’s side also commented, "We are undergoing mediation procedures and plan to wrap things up amicably. Although their relationship as a married couple has ended, they will continue to support each other's paths."

The two were married in December 2022. After a whirlwind six-month romance, they had a swift wedding, but due to irreconcilable differences, they are currently going through the process of divorce after a period of separation.

Meanwhile, Jiyeon debuted as a member of T-ara in 2009. She has released several hit songs, including "Sexy Love," "Roly-Poly," and "Crazy Because of You," and has also worked as an actress, starring in dramas such as "Dream High 2."

Hwang Jae-gyun is an infielder for KT Wiz, having previously played for Hyundai Unicorns, Nexen Heroes, and Lotte Giants. He is currently competing in the KBO postseason's semi-playoffs.
