SBS-TV's new drama 'The Fiery Priest 2' is gearing up for a grand return.

On October 10, the production team of 'The Fiery Priest 2' released a teaser poster featuring the lead characters from Season 1: Kim Nam-gil (as Kim Hae-il), Lee Ha-nee (as Park Kyung-seon), and Kim Sung-kyun (as Koo Dae-young).

'The Fiery Priest 2' follows the story of Kim Hae-il, a justice-driven priest, as he pursues a drug-related case. Season 1 surpassed a 24% viewership rating, making it a mega-hit.

After nearly five years, the sequel is back. Writer Park Jae-beom, director Park Bo-ram, and actors Kim Nam-gil, Lee Ha-nee, and Kim Sung-kyun have reunited, promising another thrilling and satisfying drama.

The poster makes a strong impression. Father Kim Hae-il (played by Kim Nam-gil) stands with his priest robes billowing. Prosecutor Park Kyung-seon (played by Lee Ha-nee) and Detective Koo Dae-young (played by Kim Sung-kyun) also exude intensity with their piercing gazes.

Kim Hae-il holds a rosary, revealing his warrior-like nature. He has been chosen by the Pope and granted the authority to carry out justice. As a special fiery priest called 'Bellato,' he takes on the forces of evil.

Park Kyung-seon is shown holding a knife, scanning her surroundings, evoking a mysterious dual atmosphere. She is expected to act as Kim Hae-il’s ally, 'Gomes,' piquing the curiosity of viewers.

Koo Dae-young also joins as a 'Gomes,' helping Kim Hae-il. Holding a gun with a sharp expression, he further raises expectations, especially after his special bromance with Kim Hae-il in the previous season.

The tagline on the poster is equally impressive: "The mission of Bellato begins." The setting moves from Gudam District (from Season 1) to Busan, promising even more powerful justice.

The production team shared, "Kim Hae-il will receive a new mission as 'Bellato.' This season will focus on his mission to dismantle an evil cartel, with the help of his trusted allies, the Gomes."

They added, "Kim Nam-gil, Lee Ha-nee, and Kim Sung-kyun will show perfect chemistry, as if there were no five-year gap. We are confident that the long wait will be rewarded with a show that meets fans' expectations."

'The Fiery Priest 2' is set to air on November 8 at 10 PM, following the drama 'The Judge From Hell.'
