BTS's J-Hope is nearing the completion of his military service, and Big Hit Music has made a request to ARMY (fandom name) ahead of his discharge.
On October 14, Big Hit Music announced on the Weverse fan platform, "J-Hope is set to be discharged after completing his military service as an active-duty soldier in the army."
The company urged fans to refrain from visiting the site in person. "The discharge date coincides with that of many other soldiers. Please send your warm welcome and support from the heart."
Big Hit Music added, "We are always grateful for the support and unwavering love you've shown to J-Hope. We will continue to do our best to support our artist in the future."
Member Jin playfully congratulated J-Hope on his upcoming discharge. He joked, "J-Hope is getting discharged? Wow, time really flies. Back in my day, for real..."
J-Hope enlisted on December 12 of last year and has been serving as an instructor at the 36th Infantry Division recruit training center in Wonju, Gangwon Province. He is scheduled to be discharged on November 17.
