The Boyz are set to deliver an addictive new song.
On October 18, IST Entertainment uploaded the highlight medley for The Boyz's 9th mini album '導火線' on the group's official social media accounts, offering a preview of the album’s tracks.
The video, approximately 2 minutes and 21 seconds long, features snippets of six songs, including the title track 'Trigger' (TRIGGER, 導火線). Logos matching the mood of each track also appeared in the video.
'Trigger' is characterized by a progression from house electro-pop to hip-hop sounds, reflecting the group’s ambition to create a significant impact through their movements.
The new album also includes tracks such as 'Bite Back', 'Slip Away', and 'They See Me Dream', showcasing the group's exploration of new musical styles.
Renowned songwriters participated in the album’s production. DEEZ and Yoonsoo, who worked on the previous title track 'Roar', contributed to the new songs, hinting at the birth of more hits.
The members themselves also took part in the album's creation. Q, adopting a bad-boy persona, wrote the lyrics for 'bAd'. Eric crafted sweet lyrics for the song 'Re-Wind'.
The Boyz will release '導火線' on October 28, embedding their confidence and commitment to continuous growth throughout the album.
