Seventeen has claimed the top spot on Japan’s Oricon chart.
On October 22, Oricon released its latest chart (for the October 28 edition). Seventeen’s mini album 'SPILL THE FEELS' reached number one on the weekly album ranking.
The album sold a total of 410,000 copies, surpassing their previous record of 333,000 copies set by '17 IS RIGHT HERE.' It also achieved the highest weekly album sales by any foreign male or female artist this year.
Seventeen now holds 13 cumulative number-one spots on the Oricon chart, continuing their streak as the foreign artist with the most number-one albums. Since the release of 'Attacca' in 2021, the group has secured first place with nine consecutive albums.
'SPILL THE FEELS' is also performing well on international charts. During its first week (October 14–20), the album sold over 3.16 million copies, marking the highest first-week sales of any K-pop album this year.
The group also reached the top of the Oricon daily album ranking four times with this release. Their title track 'LOVE, MONEY, FAME' is maintaining a strong position on domestic music charts, including Melon and Bugs.
On October 21, Seventeen released the music video for their track 'Eyes on You.' A representative commented, "We anticipate growing global interest in the album’s tracks from fans worldwide."
Seventeen is currently on their world tour. Starting on October 22–23 (local time) in Rosemont, they will perform 10 shows across five U.S. cities, including New York, Texas, Oakland, and Los Angeles.
A Japanese dome tour is also scheduled. The group will perform at Aichi’s Vantelin Dome Nagoya on November 29–30, Tokyo Dome on December 4–5, and Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 12, 14, and 15.
Seventeen will conclude the tour with performances at Fukuoka’s PayPay Dome on December 19, 21, and 22. A new Japanese single album release is also in the works.
