SEVENTEEN will light up the Empire State Building in New York with the group’s official colors.
On October 23, Pledis Entertainment announced, "The Empire State Building will illuminate its lights in SEVENTEEN’s official colors, Rose Quartz and Serenity, on October 28 (local time)."
This lighting ceremony will not only resonate with CARATs (the group’s fandom) worldwide but also remind local citizens and tourists of SEVENTEEN's global influence, reaffirming their popularity.
SEVENTEEN is also kicking off their new world tour, 'RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR IN US.' The tour began at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on October 22 and 23.
Following their New York performances on October 25 and 27, the tour will continue to Texas, Oakland, and Los Angeles (LA), totaling 10 shows. Notably, nine of the concerts sold out immediately after ticket sales opened.
In LA, from November 7 to 11, SEVENTEEN will launch an urban concert project, PLAY PARK THE CITY, combining concert content and intellectual property with local infrastructure. This marks SEVENTEEN's first attempt at such a North American event.
The tour also features several fan-centered activities, showcasing SEVENTEEN's expanding global influence. Highlights include 'CARAT WORLD,' an offline event for local fans, and 'CARAT STATION NEW YORK,' a pop-up event in collaboration with Spotify.
SEVENTEEN recently demonstrated their formidable album power with their 12th mini-album, 'SPILL THE FEELS,' achieving over 3.16 million copies sold in the first week, the highest initial sales for any K-pop album this year.
In Japan, SEVENTEEN continues to dominate, topping the Oricon Weekly Album Chart for the 13th time. They now hold the record for the most number-one rankings on the chart among all international male and female artists.
