BTS Dominates U.S. Billboard Charts as Solo Artists

BTS continues to prove its enduring popularity. Following the military discharges of Jin and J-Hope, their dominance on the charts has only intensified.

On October 23 (KST), Billboard announced its latest chart rankings (for October 26). With Jimin and Jungkook actively leading the charts, recently discharged members Jin and J-Hope have also joined the ranks, securing spots on major charts as solo artists.

Jin’s digital single 'Super Tuna' made its debut at 87th on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart and 159th on the 'Global 200' chart. The song also reclaimed the No. 1 position on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart.

'Super Tuna' is a re-release of a previously released track, now with a newly added second verse. Despite originally being released in 2021, the song has regained popularity, driven by Jin’s playful charm and sweet vocals.

J-Hope also made a surprise appearance on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, with 'on the street,' his collaboration released in March, re-entering the chart at No. 2. The song continues to draw global fans' attention and support.

Jimin has maintained his presence on two main charts for 13 consecutive weeks. His solo album 'MUSE' and its title track 'Who' secured strong placements, with 'Who' ranking at 32 on the 'Hot 100' and the album at 97 on the 'Billboard 200.'

In addition, 'MUSE' ranks No. 2 on the 'World Albums' chart, while 'Who' placed at No. 8 on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart, No. 13 on the 'Global 200,' No. 23 on the 'Streaming Songs' chart, and No. 29 on the 'Pop Airplay' chart.

Jungkook remains a staple on the Billboard charts. His single 'Seven' (feat. Latto) has now spent 66 weeks on the charts, currently ranking 49th on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart and 90th on the 'Global 200.'

Additionally, the title track 'Standing Next to You' from Jungkook’s first solo album 'GOLDEN' ranks 119th on the 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart and 186th on the 'Global 200,' maintaining chart placements for 50 and 44 weeks, respectively.
