"I am deeply touched that so many people are enjoying it," said Rosé.
BLACKPINK's Rosé expressed her joy as her new music video surpassed 100 million views.
The music video for 'APT.', the pre-release single from Rosé's first full-length album 'rosie', hit 100 million views on YouTube on October 23, just five days after its release.
The music video has sparked significant global interest, attracting attention not only in Korea but internationally. Within just one day, it had already surpassed 25 million views.
The video has topped various charts, including trending videos, trending music in South Korea, and trending charts in the United States.
Rosé shared her thoughts, saying, "This song naturally came about from a game I used to play with friends. I’m deeply grateful that so many people are listening and enjoying it."
Reflecting on the process of preparing her solo album, she added, "I had a lot of concerns and worries along the way, but the love and support I’ve received have given me happiness and strength."
'APT.' is inspired by a game called "Apartment" and features pop star Bruno Mars, who also made an appearance in the music video alongside Rosé.
The song has become a massive global hit, topping iTunes Top Songs charts in 40 regions and countries. It entered Spotify’s Global Top 3 and continues to hold a strong position.
The song has also dominated Chinese charts, reaching the top of QQ Music's Hot Chart and Trending Chart, as well as securing the number one spot on Kugou Music’s Pop Chart.
In Korea, 'APT.' achieved a perfect all-kill, sweeping the real-time, daily, and Top 100 charts on Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe.
Meanwhile, Rosé's full-length album 'rosie', which will feature 12 tracks including 'APT.', is set for release on December 6.
