G-Dragon will make his long-awaited return to the small screen, appearing on a variety show for the first time in 12 years.

On October 23, G-Dragon appeared in the teaser at the end of tvN's variety program You Quiz on the Block (hereafter referred to as You Quiz). The teaser hinted at discussions about his past episodes, recent activities, and future plans for BIGBANG.

From the opening scene, his entrance stood out. Dressed in a suit, G-Dragon made a shy appearance in a traditional Korean house courtyard. He warmly greeted host Yoo Jae-suk with a hug, though he also seemed a bit nervous.

He even gave a sneak peek of his upcoming solo track. For the first time on You Quiz, G-Dragon unveiled part of his new solo song, marking his first solo release in seven years. After hearing the preview, Yoo Jae-suk playfully lamented, "Why did you stop there? I want to hear more!"

G-Dragon also expressed his passion for music, sharing the inspirations behind BIGBANG's hit songs like Lies and Bang Bang Bang, which he wrote and composed. "Songs just come to me—whether it's after a breakup or even when I simply stand up from sitting," he revealed during the interview.

He reflected on his early days as the youngest member of YG Entertainment, saying, "(Taeyang and I) used to clean up after the older members' meals and eat whatever was left over." He also hinted at future plans for BIGBANG, stating, "We have plans as a group."

The episode featuring G-Dragon is set to air on October 30 at 8:45 PM on tvN.
