ZICO Marks 10th Anniversary with Special Pictorial

Artist and producer ZICO has released a commemorative pictorial celebrating the 10th anniversary of his solo debut.

On October 24, ZICO unveiled the photoshoot in collaboration with W Korea. The concept of the shoot pays homage to the covers of his previous albums, marking his decade-long solo career.

ZICO reinterpreted six iconic cover designs from his discography, which includes 11 singles, 4 mini-albums, and 1 full-length album. Among the reimagined covers are his digital single Tough Cookie (2014), first mini-album GALLERY(2015), special single Break Up 2 Make Up (2016), second mini-album TELEVISION (2017), full-length album THINKING (2019), and viral hit single Any Song (2020).

In the interview accompanying the shoot, ZICO reflected on his career with remarkable candor. "Looking at myself now, I don't have regrets like, 'If only I had worked harder back then' or 'If I had slept a little less, I could have done more.' I poured my entire twenties into music," he shared.

He further elaborated on his multifaceted life, saying, "I live with three different egos. The first is as an artist—taking part in activities like hosting The Seasons: ZICO's Artist, releasing albums, and performing at various festivals. The second is my role as the head producer of KOZ Entertainment, which is similar to a regular office job. And the third is just living as Woo Ji-ho, an ordinary person."

At the end of the interview, ZICO hinted at his upcoming solo concert: "On November 23 and 24, I'll be holding a solo concert at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park. It's been a long time since 2018. This will be a show that encapsulates my 10-year journey."

The full pictorial and interview can be found in W Korea Vol. 11, released on October 22, as well as on their website and official social media platforms.

ZICO's solo concert, ZICO LIVE: JOIN THE PARADE, will take place at Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park on November 23-24. This marks his first solo concert in six years, promising fans a unique event described as a "parade just for us."
