ILLIT Marches Straight into Fans' Hearts with a Spectacular Showcase
ILLIT (members YunAh, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha) made a lasting impression with their fan showcase on October 23 at Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park, celebrating the release of their second mini-album I'LL LIKE YOU. The event was also live-streamed via HYBE Labels' YouTube channel and the global fan platform Weverse, connecting with fans worldwide.
The group invited their fandom, GLLIT, into their cozy "hideout" for a day filled with heartwarming interactions and live performances. From the very beginning, the members actively engaged with fans, even coming down to make direct eye contact with individuals in the audience, creating an electrifying and intimate atmosphere.
The first segment, "Cabinet Talk," featured the members drawing questions from a cabinet they had personally decorated, answering fans' curiosities about the new album. When asked to describe the album in five words, they responded with adorable phrases like "Completely ILLIT," "ILLIT itself," "Shining bright," "Straight ahead," and "Only thinking of GLLIT," drawing laughter and cheers from the crowd. The group expressed their deep affection for their fans, saying, "We prepared this album with only GLLIT in mind. We wanted to show a variety of sides of ourselves, and every element in this album is truly special to us."
The excitement soared as the group took the stage to perform songs from their new album. Their debut performance of Tick-Tack showcased playful choreography that matched the track's unique sound, while IYKYK (If You Know You Know)delighted the audience with lively steps and infectious energy.
The highlight came when the intro of the title track Cherish (My Love) echoed through the venue, sending the fans into a frenzy. The five members captivated the crowd with their confident and candid "magical girl" personas, perfectly complementing the song's catchy hook.
